Jerical has been a fisherman for many years in the Philippines.
He belongs to the Molbog language group and lives among the sandbars of the region. Growing up, he had never heard of Jesus until he attended an SRV training. Since then, he has become a devoted follower of Jesus and committed his life to God.
He now serves as a storyteller among his people and shares the
gospel with them.
During a follow-up training, Jerical expressed a desire to reach out to the Tausug people group, who also live in the sandbars.
Jerical established a story group among them and many were interested in hearing about Jesus.
Although some Muslim leaders in this area have prohibited him from continuing his efforts to spread the Word of God, Jerical is committed to reaching the Tausug people group regardless of the challenges he faces.
Storytelling is an easy way to share the gospel. We learned many new things from the stories we heard and discussed, and it really helped us. Jerical
