Several years, in a small village in Uganda...
a young woman named Nice was living in a church. She was a single mother, living in poverty, and radiated with deep sadness. The pastor allowed her and her child to stay at the church, and in exchange for a room, she helped with cooking and cleaning.

Nice participated in a small group led by Anna, where she deepened her understanding about God.
This group was concerned with not only her spiritual needs but also her physical needs.
Along with learning truths from God’s Word, she learned to take ownership of the resources in front of her.
With the pastor’s support, she opened a small store behind the church and began selling homemade bread to the locals, which became highly sought after.
Word spread of her excellent bread; everyone wanted it, even people in surrounding communities. She has now purchased a bike and has hired a delivery person. Today, Nice’ has her own small house, has put her son through school, and cares for three orphans. Her inspiring journey is a testament to the power of faith in Jesus and working together.
